So we made it out camping this weekend in our brand new camper! It was so much fun!! Definitely a learning experience... but still a really great trip.
We headed down to Sand Mountain (Little Sahara) for the Bday/Mother's Day weekend extravaganza!! We don't have any toys but we went with our great friends who are always so generous and they made sure we all had a great time. Kaitlyn was quite the little adventurer as well! She is just barely getting the hang of her tiny 4 wheeler at home but she was just loving the bigger 4 wheeler that our friends have for their daughter. She got the hang of it and was cruzin'! She even got a chance to ride with Jer on the big one and Audreys little gas powered 4-wheeler as well. She loved it!
It got pretty cold at night down there and we learned one little battery for our rig was NOT enough to get us through even the first day. The info we got from the dealer was a bit misleading.... So luckily we were camping with good friends and we were able to plug in to them and their generator. They were the perfect group to be with for our first trip out. They were always there to help and had what ever we needed! THANKS AGAIN YOU GUYS!!!

Oh, and I got a little Mother's Day surprise gift for the trip....
Jer got these for Valentine's Day last year and now I finally have mine! They sure come in handy while camping but use w/ caution. Note to self..... dont forget to shake the sand off your foot before opening your brewskie ....
