Easter/Spring Mini Sessions
Spring Mini Photo Sessions are now available at Bridge Photography!
Call to schedule your 15 minute session during weekdays March 23rd-31st. Sessions are limited. 801-556-6148.
Check out the adorable flyer!
I am working on some cards and a 20 page 10x10 book that will be available for purchase as well. In fact, the background paper used on the flyer comes from that collection!
Here is a sneak peak at some of the cards I designed for WHCC with this damask set as well.

The Bridge Photography set will be similar. I just need to change these a bit so they have a bit more peach in them and then do some brown/blues to match the backdrops. SO FUN!!

OCD Success
Oh I love the internet and in this particular case I love Ebay. As posted earlier, I have a really cute outfit for K so my mission was to find the matching outfit for Abby so the girls can coordinate for their Bday and photo shoot. (I know.... so cheesy!) So it only took me 2 WEEKS and I found the outfit on Ebay for $0.99!!!!!!! Seriously, I got it for $0.99 and then $3.50 shipping. CRAZY!! I cant beleive I found the outfit, perfect size that quick!
So here it is!

I cant decide if I want to have them wear the entire outfit and be totally matchy-matchy or just have one do the shirt and one do the skirt. I know... what a dilemma =) I have had a stressful day so it feels good to focus on the simple girlie things sometimes!

Good nights sleep...
OK, I didnt really get a good nights sleep but I am feeling much better this morning than I was yesterday thanks to Susie and me just chilling out a little bit =) My fuse has been a little short lately but I am working on it...
Abby has a little cold and she has not been sleeping very well the last few nights. So Monday night she wakes up at 1:30 a.m. Ok, great! I fell asleep at about 12:45 a.m. and I need to get up at 6 a.m. OK, so I go in and grab her but I am too tired to sit and console her and actually wake up so I just take her to bed with us. BIG MISTAKE! I know this, but yet I keep trying.... So all night I am getting kicked, hit, shoved and finally get about 15 mins of sleep with my head pinned between my nightstand and Abby breathing in my face.
So last night I was pretty exhausted and fell asleep around 10 I think, and then at 1:30 a.m. Abby wakes up again. This time I make Jer go get her. But what does he do? He goes and gets her and then brings her in bed and hands her to me. (which he doesnt even remember doing in the morning) OK, thanks! =) So we did fall asleep until about 2:30 but then I decide it is time to get up and put her to bed so we can both get a good night rest. So taking the 30-45 mins to rock her and put her to bed was so worth the 4 hours of SLEEP I got lastnight vs. the 5-6 hours of NOT sleeping from the night before. So I rocked her, sang and just cuddled my little stinker until about 3 a.m. and then we both went to bed, in our own beds, and slept just great! I even cheated and called in work and said I was going to be a little late so we could all sleep in a bit longer too. Abby only made it until about 7:00 but I feel a lot better today!
I just need to cool it sometimes and soak it all in. Besides, how could you be mad at a face like this!

Kitchen update
OK, I know it has been a while since I posted about the kitchen but we really have been working on it! We had a minor setback with the dishwasher (piece of crap and was broken...an IKEA rant post will be coming soon) but it is looking good!
Where to even start.......
We added the door handles and put up the rest of the uppers on the South wall. We had to get a little creative and cut off part of the upper rail with the dremmel...:

Then we installed the microwave and then of course we had to test it out and we made some microwave popcorn!

Then today we got our FRIDGE! We ended up getting it from Lowes instead of IKEA due to the customer service issues we had with the dishwasher. One thing with IKEA is they have great stuff but once you walk out the door they wash their hands of you and are NOT willing to help with any issues. So we'll buy the rest of the little stuff that we need from IKEA but we will not be making any more major purchases from there and definitely not any more appliance purchases! But anyways.... we have a pretty fridge! Its even a Whirpool to match the rest of our appliances and we ran a water line so now we will have ice and water on the door! Plus Lowes delivered it for FREE and they ended up having to take the fridge apart to get in through the door so I am so glad we did NOT try that ourselves.... so now it is all hooked up and ready to go! :

We decided we are not going to do the fridge surround after all. That way we can use the sides to put stuff up on (but we ended up getting a stianless steel "like" fridge so it is magnetic any ways and wont show finger prints as badly so they say...) but more importantly we wont block the light switch. So once we take out that panel the fridge will move over another 1/2":

So we still have a few more things to finish up like installing the shelves and stuff inside the cabinets, trim, pocket doors, more handles, lights... but we are getting close. But what we really need to do is get the garbage out of the back yard!! HA HA HA!!

Isnt that pretty =)
